About Our Tasting Room

Located right on the water in Omena, Leelanau Cellars offers stunning views of Grand Traverse Bay and is a favorite stop along Michigan’s scenic M-22. Founded in 1974, it’s one of northern Michigan’s most established wineries and the state’s largest wine distributor. While recognized for popular wines in stores nationwide, the tasting room features 30+ award-winning selections not usually found in your local wine aisle.

Free tastings are offered Monday through Wednesday, with $5 wine-by-the-glass and the best bottle prices in the region. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just passing through, it’s the perfect place to sip, take in the view, and enjoy the charm of Leelanau.

Group Tasting Information

We love big parties, and we look forward to hosting your group! While we do not take reservations, we kindly ask that groups of 8 or more call ahead so we can provide the best possible experience. See you soon!

Monday-Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
